The Agency for Civil Aviation has granted AIR BERLIN AIRPLANE for the summer season in 2011, on the route Tivat -Nirnberg, from 18 May to 14 September 2011, once a week (Wednesday). The approval was issued in accordance with the request of the German airline.

AIR BERLIN is a very successful and second-largest airline company in Germany that transports to 163 destinations in 69 countries.

By introducing this direct line, another important segment is provided in order to promote Montenegro as an attractive tourist destination, as well as increasing the number of foreign tourists and passengers from the European market.

The Civil Aviation Agency organized a course of standardization of the examiners in the flight, which took place in Podgorica from 9-11 February.

The training was attended by 14 participants, namely: 3 participants from the Civil Aviation Agency, 5 participants from Montenegro Airlines, 2 participants from Helihopter unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Public Administration, 2 Di Aira students, as well as one from the Aviation Service of the Government of Montenegro Up.

The trainer on this training was Mr. Ren Jankins, JAA certified coach.

The Civil Aviation Agency, as a body representing the aviation authority of the state of Montenegro, performs, among other things, a very important role in the supervision of air traffic in Montenegro. In the previous period, the Agency paid special attention to the promotion and improvement of the knowledge of its supervisory staff, which was attended by numerous courses organized by relevant international institutions in centers throughout Europe.
