Djurovic took over the chairmanship of the Permanent Commission of EUROCONTROL

This year, Montenegro took over the chairmanship of the Permanent Commission of EUROCONTROL, the highest decision-making body in this European institution, in charge of safety of air navigation.

The Director of the Civil Aviation Agency, Dragan Djurovic, will be the Chairman of the Permanent Commission of EUROCONTROL and he will sign all its decisions.

This body formulates the general policy of EUROCONTROL, approves the annual budget and the five-year work program of the institution, the contractual, financial and staff regulations. The Permanent Commission is also responsible for appointing the Director General. 

Since July 2007, our country has been a full member of EUROCONTROL, the organization consisting of 41 Member States.

The Director of the Civil Aviation Agency, Dragan Djurovic, is also a member of the Coordinating Committee of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC).
