The continuation of the partnership has been formalized through a renewed five-year Technical Cooperation Agreement in the field of civil aviation, signed on May 19 this year in Marseille by the directors of Montenegro Civil Aviation Agency (CAA), Ivan Šćekić, and the French Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC), Chems Chkioua.

The cooperation will focus on areas of particular importance for the development and improvement of the civil aviation system, including air navigation, flight operations and aircraft maintenance, airports, airworthiness, oversight and quality management, training of professional staff, aviation security and sustainability of air transport.

The exchange of professional knowledge and experience, the organization of joint trainings and workshops, as well as cooperation of experts in the implementation of ICAO standards and recommended practices are provided for.

The agreement, signed within the 166th meeting of directors of civil aviation authorities of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) Member States, confirms the shared commitment to improvement of the sector and compliance with the European and international civil aviation standards.
