The newly appointed Director of the Civil Aviation Agency is Mr. Zoran Maksimovic, Air Traffic and Transport Engineer, who was covering responsible positions in the aviation industry through his whole career.

He was appointed Director and replaced Mr. Dragan Djurovic who has been the head of the Agency since its establishment.

We wish our newly appointed Director luck in his work, and remain thankful to Mr. Djurovic for dedication and cooperation in the last 12 years.

The Report on occurrences for 2020 was adopted

In 2020, there were no accidents in Montenegro in terms of commercial and non-commercial operations of civil aircraft, paragliding operations, casualties in the field of air traffic, nor occurrences classified as serious accidents, it was concluded in the Annual Report on occurrences for 2020, which was adopted by the Civil Aviation Agency. The aim of this report is to improve air traffic safety, to determine the circumstances and causes of occurrences, as well as to promote measures to prevent their recurrence.

DRAGAN DJUROVIC IS ONE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE ECAC COORDINATING COMMITTEE, IN THE FUTURE PERIOD AS WELL

At the plenary session of the Directors General of the Civil Aviation Authorities held on 12 July 2021, the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency, Dragan Djurovic, is re-elected for the position of a member of the Coordinating Committee of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC), that is consisted of 44 Member States.
